Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a small-sized and light weight compressor by a method wherein a front head and casing etc. arranged in a conventional vane type compressor may be eliminated.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 4 is comprised of a hub part 4A, intermediate part 4B and circumference part 4C, the hub part 4A is formed with radially directed through- pass holes 4a and also with axial hole 12 into which a driving shaft 13 is inserted. The intermediate part 4B is formed with sector shaped spaces 4c., each of the spaces 4c is communicated with the axial hole 12 thrugh the through-pass hole and with a pump chamber 7 through the through-pass holes 4c in which the discharging valves 15 are arranged. To the outside of a side block 3 is fixed a cover 17 to form a chamber. This chamber is divided by a partition member 18 into a low pressure chamber 9 and a discharging presure chamber 11. Coolant sucked from the low pressure chamber 9 under a rotation of said rotor 4 is compressed, and then the coolant is guided into the discharging pressure chamber 11 through the space 4c, axial hollow part 13b and finally discharged out through the discharging port 21.
