Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the yield of manufacture of heat pipe by a method in which both ends of a heat pipe is throttled, one end is sealed up, the heat pipe is evacuated and confined with a working liquid, and then the other end is sealed up.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of a pipe 11 are throttled by a swaping machine and one end is sealed up by pressing. And, the inside of the pipe 11 is evacuated through the other end 12 and then confined with a working liquid. Then, the other end 12 is sealed up with solder 13, etc. Thus, the breaking of vacuum can be prevented and the manufacturing yield of the heat pipe can therefore be raised.
