CONSTITUTION:When a sheet of paper 11 is inserted along a guide plate 12, the projections 18 of a stopper pawl 13 are engaged with the cut grooves 17 of a platen 14 and a paper pressing roller 19 arranged on the upper stage is separated from the surface of the platen 14. Since the projections 18 of pawl 13 are engaged with the cut grooves 17, the end of the inserted paper 11 is stopped by the projections 18, preventing the paper 11 from advancing over the projections 18.
