Abstract
PURPOSE: To automate centering in such a way that after a contactor which is concentrically installed in the center aq the tip of a main shaft has contacted the inner circumferential face of the reference hole of a work, it is moved in the directions of X axis and Y axis, and the center of the main shaft is made at one with the center of the reference hole on the basis of moving rate of the contactor.
CONSTITUTION: A contactor 6 is moved to the proper point Op near the inner circumferential face of the reference hole 2 of a work 1, and from the point Op the contactor 6 is moved by means of low speed feeding in parallel with X axis until it is brought into contact with the inner circumferential face of the reference hole 2.
