Abstract
PURPOSE:To considerably eliminate the change in luminance accompanied with switching display of both signals, by setting the output ratio of display of a TV signal of the standard system to a TV signal having n-times horizontal scanning frequency as n:1. CONSTITUTION:A demodulatin circuit 3 demodulates a video signal of the standard system applied to an input terminal and supplies it to a signal conversion circuit 3. The supplied signal is written in a memory in the circuit 3. The written signal is read out once in double speed as being written in the next one horizontal scanning period and applied to a luminance set circuit 4. The circuit 4 sets the level of a signal applied to an amplifying circuit 5. On the other hand, to the input terminal, a TV video signal having double scanning line number twice as that of the atandard system is applied. The demodulation circuit 2 demodulates this signal and supplies it to the circuit 4. The ratio of screen luminance is 1:2, when the signal supplied from the circuit 3 and from the circuit 11 displayed respectively. Thus, the circuit 4 is set so as to regulate the amplitude ratio of signals applied to the circuit 5 to 2:1(n:1).
