Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent charged electric potential from changing even if atomospheric temperature changes from 20% up to 90% RH by organizing a contactor using an aritificial fiber dispersed with carbon. CONSTITUTION:In the front of a charger base 24 a basic body of a charging device, in its front face, namely, from the side contacting a light sensitive body 4 in order a contactor 28 made of an aritificial fiber and an electrode 29 are mounted by a screw 5. With revolution of the light sensitive body 4, AC voltage and DC voltage are applied from the electrode 29 side and charged on the light sensitive body 4 through a contactor 28, and as the artificial fiber dispersed with carbon is used for the fiber organizing the contactor 28, its electric resistance is little affected by the temperature even when it changes in the range between 20-90% RH and the charged electric potential of the light sensitive body 4 is stabilized.
