Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain accurate analysis data by automatically controlling the chart speed of a recorder for analysis data recording in correspondence to the time for injecting moving phase liquid into a volume meter. CONSTITUTION:When the valve 4 in the lower part of a moving phase vessel 1 is opened, developer 2 flows into a column 3. Here, mixed components are separated, and flow through a tube 8 into a spectrophotometer 6 and the analysis data of the inflow liquid concentration are recorded in a recorder 9. When the liquid level sensor 11 of a volume meter 10 operates, an electromagnetic valve 13 openes and the discharge liquid from the column 3 is successively dispensed into test tubes 14a-14d. On the other hand, a timer circuit 16 measures the time until the sensor 11 operates at a specified point, and the motor 17 of the recorder 9 is rotated and controlled by the output thereof, whereby the chart speed is changed. Thereby, the correspondence of the analytical liquid per unit time and the recorded data are made easy, and the liquid separation is accomplished accurately.
