Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a diagnosis system for a motor system which is driven at a fixed speed by feeding back the speed signal of a digital tachometer, whereby the tachometer is diagnosed whether it is good or bad by tachometer pulses of 2 phases to be generated by the motor which is applied with a fixed voltage. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of a capstan motor 19 at the time of normal running at a fixed speed is detected by a tachometer circuit 15 and tachometer pulses are fed back to a comparator circuit 16 through a cycle time interval count circuit 14 and the motor is caused to run at a fixed speed by giving differential signals obtained by the comparison with fixed speed signals into a capstan drive circuit 11. The motor's torque is also controlled by feeding back the motor current through a current feedback circuit 12. At the time of diagnosis, the motor is caused to run at a fixed speed depending on a load when a fixed voltage is applied to the drive circuit 11 by changing over switches 17, 18 and also by feeding back the voltage through a voltage feedback circuit 13. Under this condition, the diagnosis of the tachometer is carried out by counting the duty ratio and phase difference is carried out by counting the duty ratio and phase difference of tachometer pulses of 2 phases. A, B with the count circuit 14 and by judging them with the comparator circuit 16.
