Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive catalyst by the use of waste materials by adding heavy metal electrolyte to waste protein liquid to denature simple protein to composite metallic protein and using said waste liquid as a catalyst for waste oil.
CONSTITUTION: When electrolyte of heavy metals such as iron, zinc or the like is added to waste protein liquid produced in the production of soybean, curd, cheese, etc., the simple protein in the waste liquid denatures to composite metallic protein. If such denatured composite metallic protein is used for treatment of contaminated, denatured and polymerized waste oils, it sticks on the molecules of fats and oils and decomposes away the coated staining materials. In this way, waste oils are treated by utilizing the waste of discarded materials and this helps the solution of pollution problems.
