Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable continuous welding of a work having the same shape with a matrix at a fixed position by rotating a flange part of a matrix of unequal circular shape having a central part movable horizontally holding it between two rotating rolls.
CONSTITUTION: The titled jib consists of unequal circular matrix having a flange 2 on whole circumference and a rotation axis 5 at the center, a universal arm that fixes the axis 5 and moves horizontally, and two rolls 3, 4 that hold the flange 2 and rotate the matrix 1. The position of contact of the rolls 3, 4 and the flange 2 is fixed, and a torch is set at this fixed position. The work is fixed to conform to the matrix and continuous welding of unequal circle is made possible.
