Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an absorbing nozzle shifting device that is used suitably to an automatic analysis using a number of test tubes, by controlling both the horizontal and vertical shifts of an adsorbing nozzle which is controlled for the negative pressure via a string that is driven by a shifting motor. CONSTITUTION:A string 6 connected to the holder of an adsorbing nozzle 7 via horizontal shifting pulleys 4 is controlled via a horizontal drive motor 5, and accordingly the horizontal shift is controlled for the nozzle 7. In the same way, the up-down shift is controlled for the nozzle 7 that is shifted to the position corresponding to a desired test tube 12 by a vertical drive motor, etc. and then guided by a guide 9. Then the beads 18 adsorbed from other test tubes are dropped and supplied to the tube 12 via the nozzle 7 which is connected to a negative pressure source with a tube 11. The reagent, etc. is also shifted in the same way via the nozzle 7. Thus such adsorbing nozzle shifting device can be suitably used to an automatic analysis using a number of test tubes.
