Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize small-sized and easily-manufactured constitution by using a couple of balanced mixes each consisting of a half-wavelength transmission line and two diodes and by using only one surface of a circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION:An imput to the input terminal 37 of a local oscillator (local oscillation) is divided into two by an RF3 db and 90 deg.C hybrid and both the components are applied to local oscillation terminals 28b and 31b of the 1st and 2nd mixers 28 and 31 respectively. A high-frequency signal applied to a signal input terminal 34, on the other hand, is also divided into at a point 35 and they are applied to signal terminals 28a and 31a at equal distance from the point 35. The local oscillation terminals 28b and 28d are connected mutually via a half-wavelength transmission line 29, and the terminals 28b, 28a and 28d are connected together by two diodes 30a and 30b. At the middle point of the line 29, an intermediate frequency terminal 28c is provided and then connected to an intermediate frequency output terminal 39 through an inductor or LPF41 whcih permits an intermediate frequency signal to pass through it and intercepts a high frequency signal.
