Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten time required for data gathering to obtain data of slave stations in a short period, by receiving and analyzing the response request signal from a master station in each slave station and by causing a slave station to transmit the carrier wave, by which data is carried, simultaneously with receiving of the next response request when the slave station discriminates that the slave station itself should respond next. CONSTITUTION:Plural slave stations 7A-7C are connected to a transmission line 1, and a data gathering command (polling) is transmitted to slave stations 7A-7C successively from a master station 2 connected to this transmission line 1, and designated slave stations 7A-7C return gathered data to the master station 2. An information transmission device 9 provided between a data processing device 8 and demodulating and modulating circuits 11 and 10 in each of slave stations 7A- 7C is provided with a synchronizing detecting circuit 12, an error check circuit 13, a station address control code analyzing circuit 14, an error code adding circuit 15, and a synchronizing code adding circuit 16. The response request from the master station 2 is analyzed by each of slave stations 7A-7C; and when a slave station receives next the request to the slave station itself, the slave station transmits the carrier wave for carrying data, thereby shortening the data gathering time.
