Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the same air conditioning effect by means of the same equipment in such a way that maximum number of revolution in caleraction is set smaller than in cooling, in an air condictioner equipped with heat pump which is driven by a heat engine.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor 1 is driven by an engine 25. When air conditioning, refrigerant in the compressor 1 is circulated in the order of a four-way valve 2, a heat exchanger 3 on outer air side, a check valve 4, a receiver 5, an expansion valve 6 and a heat exchanger 7 on load side, and refrigerant from an engine jacket 11 is cooled by the heat exchanger 3. Besides, at the time of calefaction, it is reversely flowed through the both heat exchangers 3, 7 by changing over the four-way valve 2, and the heat exchanger 3 on outer air side is heated by waste heat. In addition, a temperature detector 24 is installed in the engine 25, change-over valves 17, 18 and electromagnetic valve 20 are onverted, refrigerant passing rate to a waste heat collector 14 and to an auxiliary evaporator 23 is controlled in order to vary refrigerant load in a cooler 10 at the time of air conditioning.
