Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an agent for effectively controlling scale louse which is a harmful parasite of fruit trees, tea, flower pedals, etc. by using tetrahydro-1,3,5- thiadiazin-4-one compound or its salt as active component.
CONSTITUTION: 2-tert-Butylimino-3-isopropyl-5-phenyl-tetrahydro-1,3,5-thiadiazin- -4-one or 2-tert-butylimino-3-isopropyl-5-p-tolyl-tetrahydro-1,3,5-thiadiazine-4-one, or their salt (e.g. hydrochloride), is used as an active component of an agent for controlling scale louse (e.g. Ceroplastes pseudoceriferus Green, Aonidiella aurantii Maskell, etc.). The agent is applied as it is or by diluting with a proper amount of water, at application rate 5W500g/10 are as the active component.
