A plurality of relay device blocks 4 connected with a prescribed number of relay devices 3 between the sea water 6 and the line 2 are connected in parallel between the relay stations 1. Thus, the increase in the power supply voltage with long distance of a submarine relay system or that with the increase in the number of relay devices due to high frequency transmission band can be suppressed.
