Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain an enough cool feeling with a wind approximate to a natural one, by intermittently driving a fan motor in various patterns to alter the intensity of the wind produced by the driving.
CONSTITUTION: The control circuit of an electric fan comprises a power supply circuit 1, a motor drive circuit 2, a shaping circuit 3, a reset signal generation circuit 4, a first operation circuit 5, a second operation circuit 6, an indication circuit 7, an information circuit 8 and a microcomputer integrated circuit 3. The electric fan is controlled through the single microcomputer integrated circuit 3 which is integrated as a chip and into which signals are all written by a real-only-memory system. The first operation circuit 5 includes wind quantity switches SW3WSW6 for "strong", "medium", "weak" and "off". The second operation circuit 6 includes a timer annulment switch SW1, a timer annulment switch SW2, an oscillating switch SW7 and an intermittent operation switch SW8.
