Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the source of a subordinate motor and the source of a main motor common for reducing the cost of installation by a method wherein a system is composed by using a thyristor motor which consists of a frequency converter and a synchronous motor as the main motor and by using a DC motor as the subordinate motor. CONSTITUTION:A brushless synchronous motor is used as a main motor 21 and is connected to a source through a source-side rectifier 26, a motor-side rectifier 26' and reactors 25, 25' and at the same time the rectifiers 26, 26' are controlled by giving a signal from a speed detector 23 and a signal from a speed setting device 27 to a control circuit 28. A DC motor is used as a subordinate motor 21A which is group-driven with the main motor 21 and it is connected to the output-side of the source-side rectifier 26 through the reactor 25'. With above method no independent exclusive source is necessary for the subordinate motor 21A so that a group driving system of a low installation cost is composed.
