Abstract

PURPOSE:To save resources, by recovering hot drainage or heat energy contained in the hot drainage discharged from a bath tub or the like in a supply water tank through a heat pump type refrigerator and using the cold water as a flushing water. CONSTITUTION:City water is supplied into a heat accumulating supply tank 1 from a supply water pipe 2, hot water taken out from the top of the tank 1 is supplied to a bath tub 8 and the like through a hot water supply pipe 4, a supplemental heater 5 and a water cock 6. Hot drainage from the bath tub 8 and the like is led-out into a tank 7 situated under ground through a piping 9. In the tank 7, heat exchanging coil 11b of a heat pump type refrigerator 11 is soaked or sunk. The coolant discharged from a compressor 11a is heated and evaportated here and led into a heating coil 11b through a pressure reducing unit 11c. Then heat is supplied to the tank 1 to condense the coolant and the coolant is returned to the compressor 11a. Then the water in the tank 7 is led to a water reservoir 13 and supplied to a flushing water tank 16 of a flush lavatory 17.
