Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a means for proper connecting operation of an interconnecting mechanism which connects a steering device and the rear wheel by having said interconnecting mechanism connectable only when both the front and the rear wheels are in the direction corresponding to the same turning direction. CONSTITUTION:An interconnecting mechanism 14 which connects or interrupts the connection between a pivotting link 16 and a rear wheel steering pivotting link 20 to connects or interrupts the connection between a steering handle 13 and the rear wheel has a clutch 24 which is spline connected to a rotating shaft 22 and has a protrusion 23b engageable to an indent 23a formed on the boss part of the pivotting link 16, and protrusion 23b being engageable to the indent 23a only when the front and the rear wheels are in the direction corresponding to the same turning direction thereby enabling the connecting operation of the interconnecting mechanism 14.
