Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate wrong warning of a gas leakage warning device, by a method wherein a gas detecting element sensitive to water vapor or alcohol gas is additionally installed, and signal of this detecting element and signal of a gas leakage detecting element are compared with each other. CONSTITUTION:A gas detecting element 1a is heated at a high temperature and sensitive to butane or methane gas. A gas detecting element 1b is heated at a low temperature and sensitive to water vapor or alcohol gas. Gas detecting signal Va, Vb is compared with reference voltage Voa, Vob, Voc by gas detecting circuits 3a, 3b, 3c, and when the gas detecting signal becomes greater than the reference voltage, signal a, b, c is outputted. The reference voltage Voa, Vob is set low, and the reference voltage Voc is set high. The low concentration gas detecting signal a, b is entered in a wrong action preventing gate circuit 6, and if there is no signal b, driving signal d of a warning means 10 is outputted. High concentration gas detecting signal c from the gas detecting circuit 3c passes through an OR corcuit 9 and becomes acting signal of the warning means 10.
