Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily set the space between the rotary and fixed parts of a rotary transformer at a desired value, by securing such a structure in that the space between the above-mentioned parts can be controlled without giving any effect to the height from the reference surface to a rotary magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A control part 64 of a rotary transformer is fixed temporarily to a rotary disk 70 with a screw 72 so that the space between a rotary part 78 and a fixed part 80 of a rotary transformer becomes larger than the desired value. A spacer 82 having the same thickness as a desired space (g) is put between the part 78 and part 80, and the screw 72 temporarily fixed is unfastened. Then the spacer 82 is held on the opposite surface between the parts 78 and 80 by the pressing force of a plate spring 76 of the axial direction. The screw 72 is driven tight under such conditions, and then the spacer is pulled out to obtain a desired space. In such way, the space between the parts 78 and 80 can be controlled without giving any effect to the height H from a reference surface B to a rotary magnetic head 62.
