Abstract
PURPOSE:To sense a flow rate of fluid highly accurately regardless of the effects of temperature, concentration, and the like of the fluid, by obtaining the total phase difference by using the phase difference obtained from a frequency modulated to 1/m and the phase difference from an unmodulated frequency. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving elements 12 and 13 are provided in a pipe 11 and the ultrasonic wave transmission and reception are switched by switches SW1 and SW2.
