Abstract
PURPOSE:To save energy, by providing a timer for actuating an supplementary heater for a certain period that heats water in a hot water supplyer so that the water temperature has been automatically raised previously before the frequency in use of hot water is increased. CONSTITUTION:The timer 11 that operates the auxiliary heater 2 only one a day is provided, and a temperature detector 9 is also provided which acts to stop the burner 4 when the water is heated to a prescribed temperature. Thus, immediately before the frequency in use of hot water is increased, the timer 11 operates, and heating is effected by the burner 4 irrespective of the fact that the water has been heated enough or not. When the water reaches the prescribed temperature, the terminal voltage of a thermistor 9a becomes lower than the reference voltage, and the output of a comparator 15 becomes ''0'' level. Accordingly, the level of the conjunction of a diode 18 and an inverter 17 becomes ''0'', which will become a reset signal at the inverter 17 and is passed to a latch circuit 13. When the latch circuit 13 is reset, the output becomes ''0'', the electric current is not passed to a relay 14 to switch off a normally opened contact 14a, and the burning operation of the burner 4 is stopped.
