Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove an oil component in an emulsion by a method wherein a solid component and crude oils are preliminarily separated by an adsorbing filter layer and, subsequently, said emulsion is passed through a decomposition tank and an adsorption tank.
CONSTITUTION: A drain from which crude dust is preliminarily removed by filtering is entered into an upper part of a liquid entering passage 2 and raised through an intermediate filter 3 to be fallen into a liquid sending passage 4. In an adsorbing filter, an oil adsorbing material made of a polypropylene fiber nonwoven fabric is used and primary filtering of an oil component is carried out. In this case, an upper level of the liquid sending passage is made almost equal to that of the liquid entering passage 2. The drain from a primary filter tank is further sent to a pump 7 through a sucking filter 6 for filtering dusts. The drain sent under pressure from the pump 7 is sent to a lower part of a decomposition tank 9 to an upward direction and, herein, fine particles of an oil in the emusified drain is conglutinated into crude particles and the formed crude particles are further broken. The broken oil component is adsorbed in an adsorbing tank 10 above the decomposition tank 9.
