CONSTITUTION:The signal read by a head 1 is reproduced to a pulse signal through a filter circuit 3, a differentiating circuit 4, a zero cross circuit 5, a gate circuit 8, a pulse shaping circuit 6, etc. Meanwhile, the output of the filter circuit 3 is inputted to a high output part detecting circuit 7, and the circuit 7 generates a gate signal from the output signal of the circuit 3. The gate circuit 8 permits the output of the circuit to pass through only when the output signal of the circuit 7 is outputted. Consequently, the occurrence of false pulses is suppressed.
