Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of data transfer which is required per telephone circuit, by transferring a voice to a receiving telephone side after analyzing the voice into monosyllables or syllables and then encoding the voice and synthesizing the voice through the receiving telephone. CONSTITUTION:The voice current sent from an originating telephone 1 is supplied to a voice discriminating device via a hybrid coil 2. The device 3 analyzes the supplied voice current into five elements, i.e. the type of sound, the interval, the level, the intonation and the tone quality and then forms a frame to transfer the frame to the side of a receiving telephone 6 via data transmitting device 4. A voice synthesizing device 5 receives the frame at the telephone 6, and the nonsyllable and syllable that are designated by the frame information are extracted out of various types of nonsyllables and syllables which are stored in a storing circuit to be sent to the telephone 6 via the coil 2.
