Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a photographic sensitive material giving a dye image with superior sharpness without causing desensitization by forming specified blue, green and red sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a transparent support.
CONSTITUTION: On the same side of a transparent support a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer (A), a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer (B) and a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer (C) are formed. The layer (A) contains one of yelow, magenta and cyan couplers each of which has diffusion resistance and can produced a dye by reaction with the oxide of aromatic primary amine as a color developing agent, the layer (B) contains one of the couplers except the coupler contained in the layer (A), and the layer (C) contains the remaining coupler. To the layer farthest from the support is further added a diffusion resistant coupler producing a dye having a higher molecular extinction coefft. than a dye produced by the coupler in the layer between the farthest layer and the support.
