Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the high-precision deflection, focusing, etc., of an ultrasonic- wave beam, by uniforming the turn-on time characteristics of pulse generator using a thyristor individually. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator selection signal 101 and a pulse generating trigger signal 102 are inputted to the pulse gate 8 of a pulse generator 5(1) to operate a thyristor 9, then a voltage accumulated in a capacitor 10 id discharged to energize a vibrator with a voltage pulse at that time. Each pulse generator is so rated that the time from the inputting of the trigger signal 102 until thyristor turn-on operation falls into a prescribed range of vaiance. Consequently, the turn-on time characteristics of channels 1-(n) of (n) units of pulse generators falls into the prescribed range of variance with regard to any of (n) continuous channels.
