Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable polyurethane resin waste to be calendered, by a method wherein thermosetting polyurethane resin waste is crushed, and thus obtained pulverulent and granular bodies of particle diameter less than 1mm., thermoplastic polyurethane resin and vinyl chloride resin are kneaded together. CONSTITUTION:Urethane waste is crushed into 0.001-1mm., preferably less than 1mm., in particle diameter. To thus obtained pulverulent and granular bodies, thermoplastic polyurethane resin and vinyl chloride resin and, if desired, another addition agent are added and kneaded together. These resins are then kneaded in a Banbury mixer, e.g., at heating temperature of 170-180 deg.C and under pressure of 4-5kg/cm<2> for 5-10min. By adding vinyl chloride resin as the present invention, kneading can be completely performed. The obtained kneaded substance is moreover kneaded for about 1min in a calendering machine having a roll temperature of, e.g., 190-230 deg.C and molded in 1-2min thereafter to perform calendering.
