Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the extension of the time required for photographing and prevent the indistinctness of the photograph obtained by a method wherein the filament heating current for an X-ray tube is linked with the voltage for a location survey tube, so that the filament heating current is increased as the tube voltage drops. CONSTITUTION:Voltage in a high voltage generating circuit 22 corresponding to the set value for a tube voltage setting circuit 21 is put into capacitors 23, 24 and then given to a triode X-ray tube 25 in order to radiate X-rays by the operation of a grid control circuit 26. In addition, by detecting the tube voltage via breeder resistors R1, R2 and giving the voltage to a current setting circuit 27 for heating the filament, a current control circuit 28 for heating the filament is controlled and then given to the X-ray tube 25. Therefore, the filament heating current can be changed gradually as the level of the tube voltage drops to keep the tube current almost constant. Consequently, the time required for photographing can be shortened, while the shading-off of a picture due to the movement of the object is prevented.
