CONSTITUTION:A grid 6 for speed reducing purposes is provided on the main lens ML side of a triode consisting of a cathode 2, a control grid electrode 3 and an accelerating grid electrode 5. Then only an outside electron beam portion B' as an outside hull of the electron beam that has crossed an electron beam axis on this side of a pre-focus lens sent from the cathode 2 is again allowed to cross the electron beam axis.
