Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the exchange of information between the major and minor loops, by dividing a double layer conductor region with an insulated film that crosses a cross opening pattern at an opposite part of the major and minor loops and furthermore adding a swapping function. CONSTITUTION:Cross opening patterns 1b and 2b are provided at a corner part where the major and minor loops (m) and (m') are opposite to each other, and a double layer region is divided with an insulated film 4 that crosses the patterns 1b and 2b. The reverse phase current is applied to each of the divided conductors 5 and 5', and accordingly the information is transferred backward at the loops (m) and (m'). This current phase is controlled so that a point P2' of the pattern 2b becomes empty when the information arrives at a point P1 of the pattern 1b. After this, a prescribed gate pulse is applied to the conductor 5. As a result, the magnetic potential distribution is controlled, and the information of the loop (m') is transmitted to the point P2' of the pattern 2b, by the swapping gate function. The information is transferred from the loop (m) to (m') in the same way to ensure the smooth transfer of information between the major and minor loops with no interference.
