CONSTITUTION:A heat development type diazo copying material is manufactured by forming a photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compound represented by formula I (where R is 1-5C alkyl, eacy of R1 and R2 is optionally substituted alkyl, oxyalkyl or cycloalkyl, R1 and R2 may form a heterocyclic ring together with N to which they are bonding, and X is an anion), a coupling component and a color developing aid represented by formula II (where R1 is 5-24C alkyl) as principal components on a support and by adding a nonpolar waxy substance with 50-130 deg.C m.p. to the layer as a stabilizer.
