Abstract

PURPOSE:To mitigate concentration of electric field, to prevent deterioration of an insulating layer and to enhance reliability of a ground coil for linear motor by a method wherein a conductive ring is fitted on the end part of an earth shielding layer of a cable at the place to connect the ground coil for linear motor with the cable on the feeder side. CONSTITUTION:At the place to connect the ground coil 2 for propulsion of linear motor type vehicle with the cable 7 on the feeder side, the ring 10 for mitigation of electric field intensity consisting of a conductive metal is provided at the end part of the earth shielding layer 4 provided on the cable 7, and is fitted on an insulating layer 3. Accordingly concentration of electric field at the end part of the earth shielding layer 4 of the cable 7 can be mitigated.
