Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the temperature in the respective room to be air-conditioned and to procure a minimum air flow rate within the respective room by an air flow rate variable type air-conditioner by a method wherein a difference between a preset temperature and a room temperature is obtained, the room having similar temperature differences are butched into groups, and the time division control is carried out orderly for a predetermined period of time with respect to each group.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU calculates differences ΔTA to ΔTC between the temperature of the rooms A to C and the preset temperature. Thus calculated temperature differences are divided into a plurality of zones according to the degree of irregularity. A time tI to minimize the temperature irregularities in the respective rooms A to C is determined and then divided with respect to each zone, and thus a control time t1, t2... of each zone are determined. Thus, the control is carried out for the time t1 with respect to a first zone to determine such a valve opening degree DA as can satisfy the minimum air flow rate. In this while, the valves of the other zones are maintained in a closed condition. Then the control proceeds to a second zone. The control is thus repeated by the number of the zones and thereafter circulated through the respective zones in the same way. This method is very effective in procuring the minimum air flow rate and in maintaining the respective room temperatures at a constant level.
