Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. suitable for use as a sealing material around glass of a glass-paned sash for buildings, by incorporating petroleum process oil into a cold-setting polyorganosiloxane compsn.
CONSTITUTION: Paraffinic or naphthenic petroleum process oil having a viscosity- gravity constant of 0.79W0.9 and a viscosity of 100cst or lower at 99°C is used. 100pts.wt. polydiorganosilane terminated by silanol groups having a viscosity of 500W200,000cst at 25°C, 0.1W30pts.wt. organosilicon compd. contg. two or more in average hydrolyzable groups bonded to silicon atom, 5W300pts.wt. inorg. filler such as silica, and 0.25W50pts.wt. petroleum process oil, are blended together.
