Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A buffle plate part 8 is constituted in such a manner that only its protruding part into a separating chamber 5 is formed to increased thickness to about three times thicker than that of the other part. In this way, at self-priming action, even if gas-water mixed liquid delevered from an impeller 3 collides with the buffle plate part 8, the buffle plate part 8 is not deformed to normally separate the gas-water mixed liquid into air and water, then the self-priming action of a pump can be normally and promptly completed. Further vibration can be also eliminated in the buffle plate part 8 at the time of self-priming action and pumping up operation.
