Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the rear-view all the time by a method wherein a mirror plate is rotatably held to a holder and said mirror plate is rotated about the rotation axis normal to the mirror surface in order to remove the rain drops adhered to the mirror surface during rainfall. CONSTITUTION:The holder 4 rotatably holding the mirror plate 5 by means of a ball joint 3 is turnably-to-any-direction supported by a stay 2 fixed to a bonnet. A motor 6 is fixed at the center of the back of the holder 4. The mirror plate 5 is jointed to the tip of the rotary shaft 7, which passes through the opening 4a of the holder 4, of the motor 6. The lead wire 6a of the motor 6 is connected to the power source by passing within the hollow part 2a of the stay 2 and having the switch in the compartment of the automobile in its midway.
