Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent accuracy for measurement from being effected by gas to be measured that leaks from the fixing part for a partition and a holder, by inserting a gas suction pipe with its opened inlet into the inside of the holder in an oxygen meter that measures the oxygen concentration in a high-temperature gas when inserted into various furnaces. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical partition 1 with one end closed comprising a solid electrolyte having oxygen ion conductivity is installed to a cylindrical holder 5. Inside the partition 1 a reference gas introducing pipe 7 is opened and inside the holder 5 a gas suction pipe 8 is opened. Since the gas suction pipe 8 is opened inside the holder 5 in this way, a positive gas flow from the side of the partition 1 toward the side of the holder 5 can be formed. Through the process, it is possible to prevent a gas mixture between gas to be measured leaking from the fixing part for the partition 1 and the holder 5 into the partition 1 and reference gas introduced into the partition 1 from contacting with a reference electrode 2, further since only the reference gas contacts always with the reference electrode 2, higher measuring accuracy is obtained.
