Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the advancing direction easily from two bearing components through an amplified DC conversion thereof after outputted from a magnetic sensor by arranging the sensor for detecting earth magnetism at a point free from shielding or disturbed magnetism by a body or the like. CONSTITUTION:A flux gate type magnetic sensor 1 is arranged at a point free from a shielding or a disturbed magnetism by a body or the like. When an AC signal is applied to an excitation winding of a magnetic core, an electrical signal for two bearing components are outputted from output windings perpendicular to each other. Pulse signals induced in the output winding are amplified with an amplifier 2 and converted into DC with an integration circuit 3. Thus, the pulse signals having a peak value according to the bearing from the output winding of the magnetic sensor 1 turn to a sine wave and a cosine wave deviated by 90 deg. in the phase as a result of such a DC conversion. The use of upper and lower curves of the output voltage having these waveforms as identifying factors enables a highly accurate detection of bearing easily.
