Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the rectifying phenomenon for the subject direct current machine by a method wherein the third brushes and flywheel diodes are provided. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase wiring circuit U, V and W are formed on an armature 1, rectifiers 2, 3 and 4 having an electrical angle of 60 deg.+3 deg. width are provided and then main brushes 5 and 6 are provided at an electrical angle of 60 deg.+3 deg. width. Then, the third brushes 7 and 8 having an electrical angle of approximately 5 deg. are provided at a point between the main brushes 5 and 6. Besides, the main brushes 5 and 6 and the third brushes 7 and 8 are connected to a surge absorbing capacitor Cs through the intermediaries of flywheel diodes D5-D8 and D1-D4. Through these procedures, the rectifying phenomenon of the direct current machine is improved, and interpole can be eliminated and nonsparking rectification is performed, thereby enabling to perform a high tension, large capacity and high speed rectification.
