Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated sheet excellent in punchability, heat resistance and moisture resistance, by applying heat and pressure to prepregs prepared by impregnating a base plate with an epoxy resin containing internally epoxidized 1,4-butadiene.
CONSTITUTION: Prepregs are prepared by impregnating a base plate with a resin solution prepared by adding 10W30wt% internally epoxidized 1,4-polybutadiene to an epoxy resin and drying the plate. The produced prepregs are molded under pressure and heat to form a laminated sheet. The reason why the amount of said internally epoxidized 1,4-polybutadiene used is limited to the range of 10W30wt% is that use of up to 10wt% does not give sufficient flexibility to the laminated sheet whereas use of above 30wt% results in decreased heat resistance.
