Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is H, methyl, Br, Cl or F; R2 is H or F; X is Cl, Br or F; Y is H, Cl, Br, F or methyl).
USE: An insecticide and acaricide, rich in the lasting effect with rapid action, with low toxicity to men and cattle and little environmental pollution, and capable of exhibiting the activity against injurious insects resistant to organic phosphorus agents and carbamate agents.
PROCESS: A carboxylic acid expressed by formula II or a reactive derivative thereof, e.g. an acid halide or anhydride, is reacted with an alcohol expressed by formula III (A is OH, halogen or tosyloxy) or a reactive derivative thereof, e.g. a compound in which the OH group of an alcohol is substituted by a tosyloxy group, to afford the compound expressed by formula I.
