Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve aero dynamical performance and decrease noise with simple structure by a method wherein main vane wheel and sub vane wheel are joined in one body with the leading edge of the vane of the flowing-away side a little shifted to the rotating direction than the trailing edge of the flowing-in side so that gap may be generated between the blades.
CONSTITUTION: Assemble sub vane body to the outer circumference of the main vane wheel 5 by a proper method for example by welding, under the condition that the leading edge of the sub vane 7b is shifting a little to the rotating direction than the trailing edge of the main vane 7a so that to create a gap 8. Under this constitution exfoliation of liquid on negative pressure surface is prevented, because liquid at high pressure side having high energy with little development of boundary layer, is fed to the boundary layer on the negative pressure surface of the main blade 7a, of which boundary layer is developed almost to exfoliate through gap 8 and prevents exfoliation. By this method a flow without any exfoliation up to the trailing edge of the auxiliary vane 7b is obtained, causing to improve aero-dynamic performance and reduce the noise. This arrangement also result in less parts, large reduction of working process and reduce manufacturing cost largely.
