Abstract
PURPOSE: To form an efficient mark-indicating apparatus, by providing a roller, which presses a line-drawing thread on the surface of a hose, to a frame of a cutter which is designed to cut a long size hose, which is being conveyed in the lengthwise direction, by moving forwards and backwards perpendicularly to the hose
CONSTITUTION: The long-size hose 10 being conveyed on a bus line 20 by a feeding roller mechanism 30 is measured by a standard size measuring machine 40, and the hose 10 is stopped when the passing length has reached a prescribed value. And then, a frame 61 is pushed out, the hose 10 is cut by the cutter 60, the roller which is equipped with a pushing arm 53 presses wired sections 72 and 72 of line- drawing threads 70 and 70 on the both sides of cut section of the hose 10 against the hose 10 in such a manner as to cover approximately two-third or three-fourth of the outside circumference, and then, the wired sections 72 and 72 are made to slide perpendicularly to the hose 10 by motion of a cylinder 52, and the ink which has been applied by ink blocks 51 and 51 in advance is transferred onto the hose 10 for printing of the mark.
