PURPOSE:To enable an ordinary user to perform reproducing operation easily and excellently, by loading a reproducing-stylus abrasive disk, constituted so that its surface is higher than the surface of a recording disk, in an electrostatic capacity system reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:An abrasive disk 7 is mounted on the turntable of a normal reproducing device on the electrostatic capacity system as a substitute for a recording disk 3 or replaces the turntable. In either case, the surface of the abrasive disk 7 is set higher than the surface of the disk 3. Therefore, a cantilever 2 shifts in position to a cantilever 2' and a reproducing stylus 1 is mainly polished as shown by a dotted line 8, so that electrode 4 of the polished reproducing stylus 1 comes to be in excellent contact with the disk 3. A reproducing stylus in a hard-to-polish shape is polished mainly at the side where the electrode 4 inferior in wear resistance is not equipped, so an ordinary user can perform reproducing operation easily and excellently.
