Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a heat exchanger with a fluidized bed for taking out heat from geothermal water, which is operated without any trouble even if gas-containing liquid is used, by connecting by-pass pipes having an inner diameter than apertures formed in a partition plate to the top portion of the partition plate, and extending the by-pass pipes to the downstream side of the fluidized bed.
CONSTITUTION: At the top of a partition plate 6, there are formed holes 8 having a fairly greater inner diameter than apertures 7 formed in the partition plate 6. These holes 8 are connected via by-pass pipes 9 to the downstream side of fluidized bed 12. In the above arrangement, if a small amount of gas is contained in geothermal water, the gas tends to stay at the lower surface of the partition plate 6 in the form of bubbles but these bubbles are carried away to the downstream side of the fluidized bed 12 via holes 8 and by-pass pipes 9. Therefore, the fluidized bed 12 is prevented from becoming uneven by the gas contained in geothermal water, so that the heat exchanger can operate without any trouble.
