Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the system errors on the ocean area including lines of 0 deg. of both latitude and longitude by converting the coordinates by using the compensating values having constant signs and values. CONSTITUTION:The lane signals from a receiver are given to an analog multiplexer 11. The H and V signals having two kinds of designated patterns of R, G, and P are read out, processed in a sample holding circuit 12, converted in an A/D converter 13, and given to a microprocessor (PU)17. The PU17 performs the required coordinate conversion with respect to one per cent lane signal for each pattern obtained, and computes the latitude and longitude. Compensation data is given to the PU17 from a keyboard 16. The signals of the latitude and longitude, whose system errors are compensated, are outputted, and given to a display 18 and an output circuit 19. The branched output of the display 18 is given to a compensation result judging circuit 20. When the value of latitude or longitude is varied from 0 deg., the PU17 changes the sign of the input compensating value based on the output of the circuit 20, performs addition, and forms compensating signal.
