Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable printing of letters like stamping, by a method wherein all letters are printed by a dot printer on a label without the use of stamp, and printing is conducted in two types of printings of a standard and an enlarging printing. CONSTITUTION:An indication and control part 3, and a label delivery port 4 are mounted at the front surface of a device body 2. The device body 2 incorporates a label feed roll 7 provided with a roll 11 in which labels 6 are adhered to a tape 5 at given intervals, a guide mechanism 9 which guides the labels, fed from the roll 7, to a dot printer 8, a tape winding roll 10 for winding the tape 5 wherefrom the labels are stripped off, a tension roll 11 which applies a proper tension to the tape 5 to be wound around the roll 10, and a motor 12 which drives the rolls 11 and 10, and enables the tape 5 to run to convey the labels 6 from the roll 7 to the dot printer 8. This permits printing of all letters on the labels 6 by means of the dot printer 8 and enables to perform 2 types of printings, i.e. a regular and an enlarged printing.
